chemo round 4

Maeve's counts were very good yesterday, so as a treat, we took her out for lunch at Holland Village to celebrate her birthday. She was so excited as we've not been out at all, except to the hospital, since July. In fact, her counts were so high, they exceeded the normal range, so I guess plenty of people were praying for her! We start the 4th and final round of chemo on monday (if there is a room for us) and this round will last 8 days/nights. So once again, we ask for prayer support. This chemo protocol is quite "heaty" so it may result in a fever, mouth sores etc, so please pray specifically against it. She will also be doing 2 lumbar punctures as usual, and MTX (which means finger pricks every day as usual). Pray for courage, patience and a cheerful heart. If you'd like to visit and spend time, she'd like that, and once again, we'll probably need dinner cooks if anyone is available to do so. pls leave me an SMS or a message here on my blog if you are available. If you can come by and play for about 2 hrs or so, it'll be great, as it does get very lonely in hospital...and also because i can take a break to shower/pee/pump! Without another adult, I can't leave maeve to do anything, even use the toilet. so here's to the very last round, and prayerfully, no fever round after!
