being a stay home mom

i'm slowly beginning to like being a stay home mom. i think it coincides with maeve being more interactive, being such a sweetie in the day time, being full of adorable sound effects. it gets tough every night though as she's in this phase where she wants to practice her flipping skills at night and fill the room with weird and wonderful monsterly noises which usually preceeds heart wrenching crying. i'm so tempted to let her cry it out (and i did) for a short while, after which she held me so tightly, like i've abandoned her. i can't bring myself to do it again...which means i ended up patting her hours on end last night. but her giggles in the day more than makes up for the monster she is at night!
